Open carry doesn't exist, you need 2 licenses for handguns, "assault weapons" are prohibited.

Transport of weapons can only happen within a locked case.

I've never transported not in a locked case anyway. Some other of those features seem...uh...problematic for me though.

Beyond that, what's different about the licenses such that you need 2?

PAL and PAL-Restricted.

PAL-Restricted is handguns/concealable weapons.

And certain rifles.

I haven't delved too in-depth on PAL-R classification, I presume semi-automatic rifles are covered there.

Sounds artificially complicated in order to obscure selective control. Not unlike attempts in another country I can think of.

Though some semi-auto rifles probably aren't restricted either. I'm not entirely sure.
