With background checks we are all in a list. So I think it checks out.

2020-12-22 20:16:23 UTC

The label is different than the idea.

2020-12-22 20:16:30 UTC

I am trying to get off the list.

2020-12-22 20:16:52 UTC

Yes. Who defines "Unstable" and who makes the determination?

2020-12-22 20:17:30 UTC

It’s happening now. My proposition is no more dangerous than current bans and red flag laws.

2020-12-22 20:17:42 UTC

"If you lose your gun rights you probably shouldn’t be walking around."

2020-12-22 20:17:49 UTC

Is more what we're like: "Ehhhhhh"

2020-12-22 20:17:50 UTC

on.

2020-12-22 20:18:07 UTC

I am fine with no unstable list, I am just saying that’s the farthest I am willing to go.

2020-12-22 20:18:36 UTC

I 💯 believe this. If you served time you should get your gun rights back.

2020-12-22 20:19:03 UTC

Except as it exists, you lose them most of the time indefinitely, regardless of the felony.

2020-12-22 20:19:07 UTC

And sometimes? Even without a felony.

2020-12-22 20:19:27 UTC

Some are trying to rationalize being Disabled (SSDI) is the same as unstable.

2020-12-22 20:19:32 UTC

If you can’t walk around with a gun safely and not endanger others someone should should probably be making sure you’re okay day to day.

2020-12-22 20:19:32 UTC

@Gypsy, you just advanced to level 7!

2020-12-22 20:19:52 UTC

Would not endorse that philosophy.

2020-12-22 20:19:55 UTC

You're making the assumption that the government is working with good intentions.

2020-12-22 20:20:22 UTC

I know but I disagree with the law. Lol

2020-12-22 20:20:32 UTC

I'm just Reporting, not Endorsing.....lol

2020-12-22 20:20:44 UTC

I still think my proposition is an improvement

2020-12-22 20:21:28 UTC

I am for the least intervening way to restrict guns from those few outlier situations.

2020-12-22 20:21:29 UTC

I think after 8 years of our current government, we can't trust them to tie their shoes, let alone be the arbiters of people's rights.

2020-12-22 20:21:43 UTC

But they are though 😂

2020-12-22 20:22:12 UTC

I mean until we vote for change.

2020-12-22 20:22:15 UTC

And hopefully that will change.

2020-12-22 20:23:41 UTC

Which is why I moderate for this channel, which I feel has a really good message in this respect, and I feel this is the way I can further the channel's popularity and reach in order to potentially reach more people with the same sort of message of accountability.

2020-12-22 20:23:51 UTC

Maybe. But people don’t seem to want freedom. Just the other day a guy was really impassioned when I said I think full autos should be legal and free to buy without checks or licenses. You would have thought I had killed someone lol

2020-12-22 20:24:02 UTC

Do you mean Policy Makers or Actual Policies?

2020-12-22 20:26:01 UTC

I would vote for actual laws. Politicians have not been getting the job done. If one state had some common sense. Voted out minimum wage and other barriers to employment and innovation. Voted that political salaries should be capped at some percent of the median income. Voted for 2 term limit maxes. Etc

2020-12-22 20:26:02 UTC

FFLs/SOTs aren't too hard to get, but in general I agree.

2020-12-22 20:27:26 UTC

Full autos are only available pre 86. You get finger printed for those and CHLs here in Oregon. You give up some of your 4th amendment rights. I mean that’s a big difference to me from unlicensed firearm sales.

2020-12-22 20:27:49 UTC

I have mixed feelings on Popular Vote in establishing Law. I fear the Minority getting disenfranchised or a Raw Deal?

2020-12-22 20:28:09 UTC

I think you can also machine your own full auto if you did it. Like literally you. But I am not certain on the law.

2020-12-22 20:28:52 UTC

Check up on FFL law.

2020-12-22 20:29:04 UTC

There would still be a constitution. Can’t be that much worse than legislatures. I am speaking merely on a state level though.

2020-12-22 20:29:45 UTC

I understand. As I said Mixed.

2020-12-22 20:30:46 UTC

Sometimes the Easy or Obvious has unexpected Outcomes?

2020-12-22 20:31:51 UTC

Instant Gratification can be misleading.

2020-12-22 20:33:25 UTC

That is why Economics is called the second order science

2020-12-22 20:33:32 UTC

Pre-86 is legal for people without FFLs.

2020-12-22 20:33:39 UTC

I believe the Patriot Act was Instant Gratification based upon Fear as an Example.
