Yeah
As far as I can tell, every game works
I can install ff7 real quick to test though
Eh, from my experience a game worked flawlessly
Until somehow graphics froze
I've never had that happen
This VM has been running for a while too
I could hear the game running okay, audio and input wise
Just the visuals were a still image
Though now that I think about it might had to do with this shoddy HDD
Since I can't install Linux on my main HDD somehow
shit I keep realizing that everything more updated now
I also played all the way through undertale with this, I just left it running
Roughly 28 hours
I'm still using a sandy bridge shitbox.
Install a 2nd HDD, and use the boot selector in the UEFI/BIOS to select what you want to run
I don't really want to buy another drive just for 1 OS
@nitrokojote Ivy Bridge here. i5-3570K'
I mean I could later on upgrade to an SSD and then have linux+windows but I don't feel the need right now
linux VM is bad
Like in hyper-v or something
From my experience
Oh?
i5-2540M, 8GB DDR3, Intel HD 3000 + NVS 4200M 1GB, and a 240GB SSD.
I haven't used one much tbh
Partitioning sucks ass. I prefer the two drive method
That's my laptop, then my desktop'
2D stuff runs okay, but if you want 3D you're SoL
Desktop is just, i5-2400, GTX 650 2GB, and 8GB DDR3
My server runs a lower power Ivy Bridge i\5
Oh no I meant linux VM just for the command line
The way I have this all set up is that I can boot into windows, and I have a physical drive passed to hyper-v, my linux drive
Then I can run linux with no desktop in windows if I ever want baremetal windows for some reason
I hate not having a radio shack nearby
I've never seen this before
I should get a thicc battery for my T420.
Nah, you should blaze it
