And do your research or pay for your mistakes
I guess
Best to learn from others' expensive mistakes
I need to find a car first
Wanna buy a car?
:)
No
It's in great condition :))))
No mistakes made in its explotation :))))))))))

What else did you fuck up?
Most expensive mistake was not replacing the timing belt, not checking up on mechanics' work, not changing mechanics until we found one that was good
Car bought by my mom and sister before I had a license, they went to a mechanic, told him "We bought this used car, please replace all that's supposed to be replaced"
He replaced fluids only
Kek
Timing belt snapped, engine had to be replaced
Ouch
1/3rd of the cost of the car
Lots of stress and work
VIVE LE FRANCE
3 months after buying the car, had to replace whole engine
Ouch
Timing belt too?
>replace engine
scrap
Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me
I'm not sure but I think so
@Millwood Don't be hasty, wait until you happen upon a car that fits your needs
Don't be afraid to say no, don't take retarded friends because their nickname in high school was "Mechanic"
Any does as long as it's cheap and not a total pos
Everyone will be trying to scam you
Cars don't have to look like a pos to be a pos
I know
I started going with friends who wanted to buy cars
Engine bay flooded with oil
"Oh it's normal, you'll have to pour half a liter every 1000 kilometers"
Kek wtf
Also look deep for past gas installations
My old employer bought a car that had a gas installation, didn't notice since the gas receptacle was on the bottom of the rear bumper
