any tips for trying to getting over a porn addiction

Delete instagram if you have it. Analyze your day. What do you do, and what are you doing when you do engage in those things

Only go on your bed when its time to sleep

If you're feeling temptations, go outside, or in the main room of your household if you live with your family

Also, as soon as you are feeling tempted, turn off your phone, (or your computer if you're looking at it on that)

Another thing is to pray

I reccomend the rosary, its my favorite

Gosh man some temptations really are hard to get over

Just avoid the things that lead you to look at pornography

Also pray for the kids younger than us, that they may be protected from the corrupting evil of pornography, so that they do not have to suffer what we do

Here's a prayer that my church had handed out like years ago that I held onto, and hold onto to this day

also regarding the porn thing

Some tips:
- Dont use twitter, instagram, and facebook if you can.
- Avoid both internal and external triggers.
- Think about the eternal fire. It is not worth it.
- Go read the Scripture while walking in your house.
- no bringing your phone into the bathroom, stick a good book in there. (motivational books are good!)
- work out in some way, daily. Push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, jumping jacks, running, biking, anything!
-daily prayers, especially marian ones

i also suggest watching jason evert. he is the guy to go to for marriage, chastity, dating, porn, etc
