If he's into this stuff already he's probably pretty resilient
true, but still
all this stuff does weigh on ones self, ignorance is bliss but there comes a point where living in ignorance is not living in truth, and it is more important to live in truth than to live in ignorance.
True
It still does weigh heavy on me but Christianity really helps
An infinite supply of whitepills from the next life
That is one thing that has helped me, I kinda got/am still blackpilled a bit but it did help reignite my faith
Never went atheist or anything(Thank God for that)
Based
I was never an atheist either
I used to be kind of a nominal Christian but then I had a very personal experience with God that caused me to take it a lot more seriously
Ive also just watched a bunch of apologetics videos, that helped me
True
I regularly watch a lot of those now
It makes me laugh that I ever saw atheist arguments as "good"
They do such a great job of explaining
ive listened to atheists both in chats and in vids and regardless of how they show themselves or act underneath it all you can feel this sort of smugness/condescension under it all. Or this I I I me me me, which oddly enough I see in many libertarians (and libertarianism as a whole).
Yeah I agree
I browse r/atheism sometimes and its almost overwhelming how smug they are
(I don't have a reddit account but I just look at it)
Also because their entire ideology is based off of property and property rights, very earthly things
I also have sort of sixth sense where I get a feeling about people where sometimes they just seem off, I never can pin it on what exactly . But once I get this feeling about them I can NEVER shake it
People in general or just atheists?
not all people, just people sometimes
I kind of understand that
For me its more just I'm very good at reading people
Though I had something similar happen to me when I visited Seattle once
Atheism is cringe, embrace christ instead
It sortof like that but more like a feeling. like holding your hand towards a fire and feeling the radiation, but weaker
My family and I were going on this roadtrip and we went to see Seattle, I just had this overwhelming feeling which I can only describe as the Devil standing over me. It was the most uncomfortable feeling I've ever experienced, and I felt it the minute we went into the city
Thats just Seattle lol
Yeah
I bet LA and stuff is the same way
Ive had similar experiences
Cities are bad
I get the same feeling
Reject Modernity, Return to Monke
I unironically think we should get rid of cities
They just seem to attract the worst of society
But idk thats probably an overreaction
