Wrong, a lot of Ali sellers convert their chink version to global version later so they can keep their order number and good rating. Pretty much everyone does this on Ali. Youd sometimes be hard pressed to actually find chink version. It's a comment to a deal dont rage.

@Dietrich There are hardware differences between the Chinese version and the Global version, at least when it comes to the Mi Mix 2S. It's not possible to "convert" one to the other.

@Brokenman that's good to know. I wouldn't kidnap a pharmacist tho, I feel they are watched closer than most people in the chemistry field.

Yes, but that doesn't overcome the hardware differences. Chinese version's modem is missing some common Western LTE bands, and it will be impossible to lock the bootloader with global ROM flashed
