Because that is what society pushes for, partying and becoming worthless=cool. functional member of society= boring and not cool. And when people realize that partying is a waste of time, that they have done nothing in their lives is already too late because they are entering their 30s and they probably have an unpayable debt and have no skills, which leads to depression and nihilism. There is an active war against normal people, sedated, depressed, people with no goals in life and pacified men will never do anything to stop those in power from destroying our society and enslaving us.
