I think you would've done just fine. I was security forces for 10 years. I had a secret desire to try out for combat weather but by the time came around I was married and progressing pretty well in my career

My stepdad was a cop on base. Civilian at the time tho (he served in marines in Vietnam )

I went in fresh out of high school so i was a little shit, but NOW if i went in i would go for navy seals just to test my willpower

Ugh. I can't imagine. I deployed to iraq in 06 under Bush. It was great! We always had what we needed. Especially doing fly aways. They hung sadam while I was there and they waxed our asses for 72 straight hours. By the end of the week we were rebuilt.

Deployed to afghanistan under obama in 09... Yeeeeeah, we ran out of the bare basic shit 😑
