there's no fucking way to plausibilize that we haven't heard of it in 4 star trek series with a combined of 21 seasons
(I don't consider VOY because it sucks)
on another topics, DVDs suck
I had 5 empty DVDs, about 7-8 years old stored in the basement, now I needed to burn one
not sure what went wrong, maybe the humidity?
But I've already wasted 3 of them, failing to burn the image
now I'm having the best run on DVD #4, 5.1 / 7.4 GB burned without error
Let's hope
haven't been that nervous in a while
what image you burning to them
Mac OSX Snow Leopard 32 bit
oh my
Got this beautiful Mac Mini from a flea market resulting out of the death of a person
loot
The 60 GB mechanical HDD was broken
I've put a 120 GB SSD inside
But since the recovery partition is now lost, the only thing I can do is boot from DVD
It also swallowed the 2 GB DDR2-667 DIMMs that I had lying around, although the specs say that it supports a total of 2 GB max
So if this works, I'll have a single core 32 bit Mac mini with 4 GB ram and a 120 GB SSD
What could one do with such device in an age where Raspberry PIs are faster?
shitty-server-for-pig-bot
DVD doesn't boot 😦
I can boot the Debian installer but it freezes
that's the best I got so far
considering how insecure snow leotard is these days
maybe its for the best
are you aware of any 32 bit Linux distribution that ships with all common nonfree blobs?
like all of em
haha funny
I wish
Ubuntu 32 bit? Nope
Fedora 32 bit? Nope
CentOS 32 bit? Nope
umm crunchbang was one of better "we have all drivers"
Just Debian
but currently
you could try bunsenlabs i386
Maybe I'll just use OpenBSD
i guess you could bake your own quite fast
also afaik debian can use nonfree drivers on install ?
