i went triple monitor setup

2019-04-10 13:09:40 UTC

but im going ultrawide + regular monitor next

>not being able to play arma 3 on max settings at 60 fps

Step up your game nerds

2019-04-10 13:15:29 UTC

I can

2019-04-10 13:15:51 UTC

Though my gpu will run at about 80 degrees

2019-04-10 13:22:38 UTC

That's fine, iirc. It only becomes at problem once it hits like 95

2019-04-10 13:28:40 UTC

actually nvidia's GPU's already start decreasing boost clock at 35 °C by default

2019-04-10 13:28:45 UTC

idk about AMD but probably around the same mark

2019-04-10 13:31:55 UTC

if you have a modern GPU that does boosting, the cooler you run it the higher it boosts

2019-04-10 13:34:37 UTC

why to deleet

2019-04-10 13:34:42 UTC

that second pic was irrelevant

2019-04-10 13:34:46 UTC

it was showing the temperature heating up

2019-04-10 13:34:51 UTC

not the boost clock vs temp

2019-04-10 13:35:18 UTC

i misread it

2019-04-10 13:35:22 UTC

trying to find a better one for amd

2019-04-10 13:36:46 UTC

use the 7990 ":D" one

2019-04-10 13:37:06 UTC

iirc that thing tuned down boost around 95*C or something silly like that

2019-04-10 13:37:15 UTC

what does AMD call GPU boost

2019-04-10 13:37:39 UTC

it doesn't help that i'm only getting results for CPUs

2019-04-10 13:37:55 UTC

its just gpu clock or o.c

2019-04-10 13:38:02 UTC

not sure these days

2019-04-10 13:38:15 UTC

amd didnt care marketing shilling that badly at some point

2019-04-10 13:38:16 UTC

so dunno

2019-04-10 13:38:51 UTC

it might be the reason they are so hot that they are always boosting :D

2019-04-10 13:38:59 UTC

i literally can't find anything other than the image i just deleted

2019-04-10 13:39:09 UTC

and that one doesn't make any sense

2019-04-10 13:39:19 UTC

i mean i used custom fancurve on my 290X and usualy hanged around 70 on full blast

2019-04-10 13:39:54 UTC

overclocking on nvidia is a meme these days anyways

2019-04-10 13:40:00 UTC

you just slide everything to max

2019-04-10 13:40:05 UTC

can't break your gpu anyways

2019-04-10 13:40:17 UTC

9/10 times it'll work too because the driver limits everything anyways

2019-04-10 13:40:43 UTC

wouldn't want the goys to get any extra performance <:alismirk:230784726615588865>

2019-04-10 13:42:06 UTC

idk i can't find any relevant graph for AMD, but with nvidia the cooler your GPU the higher it will turbo

2019-04-10 13:42:10 UTC

unless you manually overclock it

2019-04-10 13:42:10 UTC

Not sure whether I should get a better fan or a waterblocks for the gpu

2019-04-10 13:42:18 UTC

waterblocks on gpu's are based

what vega you have

2019-04-10 13:42:46 UTC

aka what fan setup does it have
