this site fucking sucks on mobile tbh
Microsoft today is a really weird company. I'd trust my data to Microsoft over Apple or Google any time if I had to put something on the cloud in the first place. Most of their products are incredibly amazing: SQL Server, NET Core, Office 365 in the browser, One Drive etc etc but then, they end up shoving Windows down your throat which sucks.
If instead they could just go POSIX compliant, and build their entire OS up on a Linux or BSD Kernel I'd probably end up using most of their ecosystem again because although I like most of their products, many of them are Windows -Only and I therefore can't use them
Look at this beauty 👀
Nice, so how much did you pay in the end?
You didn't get it from Conrad or it would have been long arrived
Alternate b2b
Think it was 120
tbf office prob relies on bizzare old stuff in NT
@Deleted User this is probably already really obvious information but how does your workflow handle in wsl Linux?
don't you do java or smth
No I don't do Java, WSL works fairly fine but it's not integrated enough to make me actually switch
Lacks hardware access and procfs
But then procfs isn't even POSIX but still a lot of Linux software relies on it
I have Windows 10 ~~LGBT~~ LTSC on a separate partition which I use like once every few months and WSL helps a lot to make you use software you're comfortable with, but it's not a fully functional Linux system
