if you hear me on voice chat I'm always usingit
i might just do the 48v meme
like if money isn't an issue a presonus or focusrite is the best possible way but it sounds like you're not planning to use the mic for anything other than gaming
I just hate having multiple boxes lying around
sparks muh autism
it will be for skype and discord
then phantom power supply is fine
just think of it as a mains adapter for your mic
so i don't need it to be amazing
ok makes sense
and I think i have an extra xlr cable lying around
I should make another video on this kek
"what you need to use the bm800"
because i was hella confused beforeyou told me
tbh it's what my analytics say is the most popular subject
out of all my videos
I think a lot of people are confused
and no one is WRONG using a somake, I just think if you have the money there's no reason to not use the full capability of the mic
it's like underclocking your PC parts or something
i would have just bought it and plugged it into the front mic port on my pc and then gotten pissed that it didn't work
SOMAKE KILLA
just like go through the different parts of your setup and explain why you need every part
Well
Underclocking is exaggerating, I think
It's uh...
Getting a K CPU without overclocking
Cause you don't wanna put more money into the PSU
Well, the Somake goes for <1$, while a proper interface that can run a BM800/700 at its full potential can easily cost more than the mic itself
I just realised I am going to be busy all day and now I have the overwhelming urge to die
My phantom power thing was £12, bm was £11
Altogether that's not too bad
Cheaper than a blue snowball
Or antlion
less convenient tho
looks cooler but it takes up more space
Not really, I just swing my mic stand away when I'm not talking
yo memers
I'm prob going to move phantom power supply away from my desk
Put it on the floor maybe
Treat it as a mains brick
