Are there any chink birds?

2016-06-26 13:29:36 UTC

Cockatiels and Budgies are the most popular

2016-06-26 13:29:41 UTC

they're from Australia

2016-06-26 13:37:01 UTC

bird in that gif is a Cockatoo, much bigger parrot

2016-06-26 13:37:11 UTC

live for like 70-80 years

2016-06-26 13:38:12 UTC

I wouldn't recommend getting a bird on a whim, they're a massive commitment, cockatiels live for 15-20 years and they need regular socialising time with you or they end up legit hating you

2016-06-26 13:38:45 UTC

a lot of people get a bird and leave it in a cage as an ornament, they end up plucking all their feathers out and killing themselves from loneliness

2016-06-26 13:40:01 UTC

hate seeing birds on gumtree in a shitty small cage with no toys, makes me want to go on a murderous rampage and save the wee thing

2016-06-26 13:42:32 UTC

the most surprising thing owning a bird is that they're really intelligent, almost like mini flying dogs, they learn tricks, they like to cuddle, they like socialising and playing

2016-06-26 13:43:41 UTC

definitely too many stereotypes of birds being dumb things that should be kept in a cage

2016-06-26 13:49:06 UTC

:(
