If you need a mic for gaming get the $1 lav mic on Gearbest

2016-07-03 22:44:59 UTC

It sounds good and doesn't need phantom power

2016-07-03 22:46:37 UTC

I already have one but its quality is quite shitty in some situations so i thought that it could be a good idea to get one of those chink mics, but i dont need it for a professional use

2016-07-03 22:47:05 UTC

I can get something to flame my friends for less than half the price

2016-07-03 22:47:51 UTC

The bm-800 is good, I think you just have to think of it as an instrument, people are spoiled by usb gamer mics these days like the yeti

2016-07-03 22:48:00 UTC

Condenser mics are pretty old tech

2016-07-03 22:48:29 UTC

Phantom power is cheap tho

2016-07-03 22:48:33 UTC

Not a big deal imo

2016-07-03 22:49:17 UTC

And somake is still okay

2016-07-03 22:49:19 UTC

Hold on

2016-07-03 22:49:54 UTC

You can hear the somake here

2016-07-03 22:50:02 UTC

I need to subscribe to your channel

2016-07-03 22:50:22 UTC

You are like the linus tech tips of the chink stuff

2016-07-03 22:50:33 UTC

This test is a bit faulty, the somake is much louder in volume than the phantom power

2016-07-03 22:50:37 UTC

I didn't know that

2016-07-03 22:50:48 UTC

Nah Dirty Reviews is imo

2016-07-03 22:50:50 UTC

He's great

2016-07-03 22:52:15 UTC

I'm doing a final bm-800 video soon to clarify all this

2016-07-03 22:55:26 UTC

So at the end did you get a chink phantom power

2016-07-03 22:55:38 UTC

Or you make a deal with some western pig?

2016-07-03 22:55:51 UTC

I still use my chink power supply

2016-07-03 22:56:01 UTC

It hooks into my pyle pro mixer

2016-07-03 22:56:20 UTC

Ultimately I'll upgrade to a focusrite

2016-07-03 22:56:48 UTC

The advantage is that they have dedicated drivers which improve the sound quality of your PC sound output

2016-07-03 22:56:58 UTC

Plus have 48v phantom power built in

2016-07-03 22:57:08 UTC

I hate having multiple devices for one goal

2016-07-03 22:57:27 UTC

If I can downsize to one box I will

2016-07-03 22:57:46 UTC

Sounds nice

2016-07-03 22:58:05 UTC

Yeah they're cheap enough too if you go on eBay

2016-07-03 22:58:46 UTC

If you're on a tight budget you can always use somake then move up later

2016-07-03 22:58:51 UTC

It doesn't really matter

2016-07-03 22:59:02 UTC

It's dirt cheap

2016-07-03 22:59:50 UTC

Well my headset its quite old and i am waiting for it to die in order to buy a new one

2016-07-03 23:00:25 UTC

And i think that i can get a better quality/price raltion if i have a separated mic and a headset

2016-07-03 23:00:36 UTC

Yeah the modmic is nice

2016-07-03 23:00:37 UTC

Built in mic are quite lame

2016-07-03 23:00:55 UTC

Few guys in this discord use it

2016-07-03 23:01:19 UTC

But i dont want to make a large invest because as i said i use it mostly for gayming

2016-07-03 23:01:50 UTC

I spend a lot of hours during the day on teamspeak

2016-07-03 23:02:33 UTC

Voip lowers the quality of your mic anyway so I don't know the value of my set up
