I used the previous keyboard for over 6 years/
CM Storm XT
With numpad.
I got it yesterday.
I kinda regretted it at the start be cause I thought: "Maybe it's better to buy a 60% keyboard and an external numpad for at home"
But no regrets anymore.
I bought my sister one of those
I'll just buy another 60% one for my laptop.
They're nice
Yeah.
Blues?
Browns.
Browns aren't my favorite but they're better than anything
It took me a while before I was finally convinced.
What's the difference between browns and blues?
rip chains
whoever that was
I prefer alps switches
Using alps blacks at my daily driver
What's that?
From the ALPS Electronics corporation
Hmmm
They use metal click leaves for a more tactile/clicky feeling
Cherry uses plastic
ah cool
well, I'm poor. So maybe in a few years.
That's why it sounds so high pitched on blues or greens
Alps are cheaper lol
haha wow
Okay
Alps blacks are like heavier more tactile Browns
They are a bit mushy just like Browns though
For linear switches Cherry wins
I'm going to buy new caps tho. I fucking hate this font. I just want white and green caps
looks nice on a black keyboard
But for clicky or tactile alps is objective superior
I'
Make sure you buy caps with the right spacing
Thanks for the advice.
I think cm boards have default spacing
