I used an iPhone 5 a few months ago, for about a month. It held up pretty damn good.
The screen and was small and iOS is severely limited, which is why I prefer Android, but they're good phones... not good enough for the price that Apple set, though.
It's much much easier to jailbreak iPhones than it was years ago

9.1 is jailbreakable, but 9.1 was a massive piece of shit on my iPhone 5, while 9.3.1 is buttery smooth and perfect.
