I might slib, trying to get the scanner working
so not the top of the line one?
is the scanner busted?
I think I'm doing something wrong
I have it scanning, it stops on channels but all I hear is static
move it outside?
could it be related to signal?
all the signals I see online have a TX and RX frequency
there's nothing I can see in here to make this do that
but maybe I'm missing something
I programmed in to scan between 445mhz and 460mhz
this is england 88 ep 1 was fucking shit
does it get better?
it stops on distortion
but I can't make much out
look up a pdf of the manual
I am, hold on
this is what I'm following
LIMIT SEARCH
The limit search procedure allows you to search within a range of
frequencies. You can store up to ten limit search ranges in the search
banks.
1. Press [PROGRAM], and the search bank number in which you wish to store
the limit search range. Press [0] for bank number 10.
2. Press [LIMIT]. "L" and the search bank number appears in the display.
3. Enter the lower limit of the frequency range. Then, press [ENTER].
4. Press [LIMIT]. "L" changes to "H" in the display.
5. Enter the upper limit of the frequency range. Then, press [ENTER].
6. Repeat steps 1-5 to store the limit search range into the search
banks. You can store up to 10 limit-search ranges.
7. To recall a limit-search range, press the appropriate bank number.
8. Press [UP-ARROW] to search from upward starting from the lower
limit. Or, press [DOWN-ARROW] to search from the upper limit to the
lower limit.
9. When the scanner stops on a transmission, press [MONITOR] to store the
frequency in the current monitor memory. The memory number flashing on
the display indicates the current monitor memory.
10. Press [UP-ARROW] or [DOWN-ARROW] to continue the search.
