it tells you the time which your phone can do.
it has apps like your phone
its screen is not as big as your phone
what does it do
You can *very* swiftly check notifications or time
Kind of like why pocket watches moved to your wrist
i can do that with my watch and my phone
like i can see notifications on my phone
But smartwatch users probably don't have a watch
they have a watch on their phones though
which also has notifications
That's annoying
I don't like (electronical) pocket watches in practice tbh
Well yeah, if you're already wearing a watch, upgrading it to be able to show notifications seems like a good thing
But I don't wear a watch so I find it pointless
but i can see notifications on my phone
okay i'll be honest though
So this makes sense?
i'm not a heavy phone user
I'm probably not, comparatively, even if I literally spend hour(s) texting daily
i have music control on my phone
like it's what you already have
on your writest and also on your phone
but all in one on your wrist but not better
While I'd find it dank with a digital perpetual calendar watch with notifications, they're all too clunky big and have shit battery life
i just dont understand
i'm not too technologically social anyway
I would personally at most want to read what platform the notification is from / about and who sent it and maybe possibly the introduction of the message
But if someone starts texting on their wrist, that's completely inexplicable for me
yeah people are lucky if i even reply let alone look at their notification
Good on you m8. don't let electronics control you. GPS on your wrist seems like a decent idea but it'd be so fuckign tiny
i am really forgetfull when it comes to letting people know i've seen their messages
smart watches are great for cheating at school
Now if I could get something like a tiny mi band with all the features of a mi band implanted, that would be something I'd consider
what does a mi band do?
Vibrates on notifications and tracks steps and heartrate mostly
this stuff reminds me of the lazer pointer claiming that pointing is old fashioned
no more using fingers or sticks
