in any case, they're the first hall effect keyboards made in 25-30 odd years, and the first to work with modern hardware at all

(hall effect if you don't know was a switch type very popular among very high end computers in the 60s, 70s, early 80s, basically springs tripping a magnetic sensor, completely linear, *very* long lifespan (these chinese ones are rated for 100m keypresses, but honeywell ones were rated for a few billion), just amazing shit all around)
