I seriously feel like the wobbly side-buttons ruins the otherwise premium feel of the phone

the iPhone 4 had wobbly buttons too

at least mine did

It seems like it's all Mi5.
It's not that bad, though. I think I'll quickly get used to it.

Xiaomi phones are backdoored to China and have a Chinese rom plus some versions of the rom have bloatware

but that's why you immediately wipe it and install Cyanogen

some people have no issues with MIUI, the Chinese rom

I've used Oukitel phones, they're vanilla Android but Mediatek, not as good as Redmi's Snapdragon

and no option to get a new rom

only the redmi note pro 3 has official support

so go for that one if you can
