2016-10-28 15:50:25 UTC

What model is that?

2016-10-28 15:50:33 UTC

Mi5

Welcome <@241592652976357377>!

2016-10-28 16:03:14 UTC

I seriously feel like the wobbly side-buttons ruins the otherwise premium feel of the phone

2016-10-28 16:03:31 UTC

the iPhone 4 had wobbly buttons too

2016-10-28 16:03:36 UTC

at least mine did

2016-10-28 16:03:57 UTC

I've never seen an iPhone 4 with wobbly buttons
but yeh, it probably happened

2016-10-28 16:04:19 UTC

do all Mi5 have wobbly buttons or is it the usual bad luck?

2016-10-28 16:05:04 UTC

It seems like it's all Mi5.
It's not that bad, though. I think I'll quickly get used to it.
It's just a weird oversight, considering how good this phone is otherwise.

Welcome @Agip!

2016-10-28 16:57:05 UTC

i´m just here to ask if anyone can recommend a good chink phone to me?

2016-10-28 17:00:42 UTC

rom support / usability - k3 note or rn3p

2016-10-28 17:00:53 UTC

battery life - oukitel k10000

2016-10-28 17:01:43 UTC

k6000 pro is probably better, out more recently

2016-10-28 17:01:46 UTC

better specs

2016-10-28 17:01:51 UTC

i dont care about cameras, and only need a few apps, twitter, whatsapp, telegram, spotify and soundcloud to name the most important

2016-10-28 17:01:55 UTC

other than the k10000 having bigge rbattery

2016-10-28 17:02:05 UTC

Theyre gonna do a refresh of it

2016-10-28 17:02:19 UTC

yeah same for k6000 pro, the premium? looks crazy

2016-10-28 17:02:21 UTC

6gb ram

2016-10-28 17:03:03 UTC

@Agip put your max budget into Kimovil.com and look at the easy graphs

2016-10-28 17:03:12 UTC

then pick one you like the look of

2016-10-28 17:03:28 UTC

it sounds like you're a casual so you won't care about rom support

2016-10-28 17:03:35 UTC

just get one you like

2016-10-28 17:03:55 UTC

more like a general question are these things safe, security and battery wise?

2016-10-28 17:04:44 UTC

Xiaomi phones are backdoored to China and have a Chinese rom plus some versions of the rom have bloatware

2016-10-28 17:04:51 UTC

but that's why you immediately wipe it and install Cyanogen

2016-10-28 17:05:21 UTC

some people have no issues with MIUI, the Chinese rom

2016-10-28 17:06:14 UTC

I've used Oukitel phones, they're vanilla Android but Mediatek, not as good as Redmi's Snapdragon

2016-10-28 17:06:44 UTC

and no option to get a new rom

2016-10-28 17:08:06 UTC

@literally the nogger I hope I'm not talking out of my ass here, back me up

2016-10-28 17:08:35 UTC

i heared that mediatek has huge security problems a while ago

2016-10-28 17:08:53 UTC

so get a xiaomi one and install a new rom immediately before using it is the best way to go?

2016-10-28 17:09:12 UTC

yeah, that's the usual way on /csg/

2016-10-28 17:09:20 UTC

only the redmi note pro 3 has official support

2016-10-28 17:09:24 UTC

so go for that one if you can
