what is there that has XLR input w/ phanton power and also headphone out
most audio interfaces
^
let me rephrase
tbh audio interface dacs often arent the best
what is there that has XLR input w/ phanton power and also headphone out *that is currently memed to fuck*
any if the scarlets
rip eng
scarlett is memed to fuck
audio interfaces are usually USB based and there's no room to power headphones
there's no model serial anywhere
just get a DIY o2
so most people need both an audio interface and a headphone amp
or those DIY chink amps
I use a focusrite solo, it was a big step up for me
i've used one of those
but more that my old interface had constant monitoring on and it wouldn't turn off so peopel would hear themselves echo on chat
yeah it's nice
I'm mostly in the market for new speakers
after that I'm happy with my set-up
surely there is a chink equivalent at 1/3 the price
probably
used focusrite 1st gen is cheap
but it'd be a blind buy
and yeah used is often nearly as cheap
good point
mine was used but it has no signs of imperfection at all
@Deleted User Is the DAC on the scarlett tolerable? let's say I wanted to hook it up to a magni 2
it sounds better than my in-built yeah
you'd be beter off buying a sabre DAC @transience
I have realtek inside my motherboard
theyre like 44 usd
alright I'mma go for now
see you all later or something
I'm not a huge audio autism guy, I think I just got that rep from the BM video
and I only went hard on that because I owned a bm-800 before and threw it in the bin thinking it was broken
