you wont use the keyboard for anything

and e-ink didn't progress much after that

1st gen is too old

I have a 6th gen I think, it's about as fast as a kindle keyboard

feels bad

they only really got good at kindle keyboard imo

the speed caught up

and refresh rate

loading huge epubs

is a pain in the ass

due to older processors

in older models

yeah one time I loaded 100 books in at once and I thought my kindle was dead

they only stagnated like after the kindle keyboard

and never really did a massive spec bump

but it spent like an hour processing them
