I live in germany, do I always have to pay customs duty when i buy a 300€ smartphone at bangood? will all packages that are declared over 300€ go to the Zoll, or do they randomly pick them out? and do the "Drop Shipping Order" help?

i'm not from deutschland but i saw other anons request their sellers to declare as gifts and they complied, but that's probably not 100% assurance

some ppl here got hit with import duty on delivery

kinda turned me off from importing a xiaomi phone tbh

@Jianan there are sites like giztop that cover the tax fees (there are no customs on chinese electronics), but they're a bit more expensive

if you pick an expensive shipping method yeah it'll be jewed

if you pick the cheap slow airmail stuff you have a much better chance, I never got jewed buying a phone with that

even if you have to pay your imported phone is still much more value than anything you'd buy locally
