>dumbshits fall for the nintendo honeypot and go online 10 days before the game is launched
>BUHUHUUHUHUH LEAKER FUCKED US!!!
@StormSplurge >a whole minute of you struggling to open a box
why.jpg
just because man
So what happens when you fall for the honeypot?
i wasn't expecting it to be so well wrapped
what everybody do
is this guy autist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doEZMNXz1JY
i'm on a T430 now, from using a x220, and honestly I like the new keyboard better
no antimicrobal surface or proper draining tunnels like the old one
antimicrobal is pretty important if you intend to use a laptop for more than a year
maybe the t430 is a little better than the t440
think they're about the same
they changed things around on key placements
t430 still has the acpi audio keys
I'd probably swap keyboard out with a T420 one if I had T430, never liked chiclet
the plunge on thinkpad keys makes them so satisfying compared to most shitlet keyboards
all personal preference tho innit
i'd do the mod but it requires quite a bit more work than just a straight swap
really? I thought you just pop the keyboard up and reconnect a new one
no there's bios modding and a pin that you need to block off
that's not too bad, I'd assume you're bios modding a thinkpad immediately anyway
yea
mine came with a really recent bios version
can't do a custom one
like a bios that came out in 2016 recent
lenovo decided now was the time to kick out custom bios for old-ass t420 I guess
you can downgrade using the pomona 8 pin soic clip can't you?
Maybe, I couldn't find many guides for a bios this recent
if you cared enough to; obviously a lot less easy than flashing a custom bios
the whole mod with changing the palmrest would almost cost as much as the laptop
$20 palmrest, $40-50 keyboard. i paid $130 for this thing ha
i was dead set on replacing the keyboard but it really seems pointless now that i've typed on it quite a bit more
feels fine.
what's the palmrest? I might need one
