@Eichhörnchen the thing is that if you use 2 AAAs you have 3V, whereas with 1AA you only have 1.5V

older logitech mice were mostly 2aa or 2aaa

I like old sanyo xacti's, the ones with the bigass lenses like the VPC-HD1010 for video

they have also no motion compensation and low light performance is kinda shit but they work fine in a well lit tripod env
