well, i have a couple ssd from an old server build and the base config for that price is i5 with 4gb ram

but i have a lot of spares so 8gb is easily achievable

try and get i7

because x220's aren't socketed

i used to have the x200

and i loved it

x220 is my first thinkpad and honestly i'm gonna be upset asf if it dies on me because i genuinely believe that it's the pinnacle in laptops

also i5's don't have the controller for usb 3

to my knowledge

so get the i7 if possible, even if it's a shitier ram/hdd config
