it's a historical patch, not a custom design that's sole purpose is to look good

but why it looks like shit then 'historical' or not its bad quality one

or that picture is taken with reaaaly overkill camera so the mistakes show

probably the latter

if it tries to look like real deal it fails at that in quite many fronts

It's too scrawny, it needs to be beefed up a bit, the sword looks like a cocktail sword rather than what appears to be Gladius like on the engraving

And the scroll is too cramped, the letters are crowded together and are hard to make out

And with all the empty space on the patch you could easily fix it and have it still fit

And the laurels look like the flames on the hood of a firebird
