Keep in mind if you're getting pedals like that, you'll need the shoes to go with, but regular metal pedals are good too, last a lot longer. I replaced my plastic pedals that were falling apart with them

If you do go for clips, go for mtb clips and not road clips, because the road ones are flush with the shoe, whereas the road ones aren't, so you can't walk about in road bike shoes.

What kind of bike do you have?

A mountain bike converted to an electric, and a road bike, though the road bike has the same pedals as the mountain bike
