our whole social system aimed towards teens and young adults depends on those "few year test programs"

where you cant plan for anything due next years funding is question mark to everybody even decision makers

(our sector back then ended up overspending everytime intentionaly calculated 5%) so we quaranteed at least some money to projects .. tho given we also got shit load of honorary mentions and studies interested about our job there as we made so much progress compared to other units :D )

How does finding a job abroad work? Why would they take someone from somewhere half a world away instead of someone locally? I'm sure there are plenty qualified people in those countries

language skillset is your strong part in other countries

also it just depends how good you are

more "international people" its easier to send someone to overseas for negotiations or otherstuff

as they know the local mannerism etc

also companies usualy consider immigrant workers as long-term investment

they have less incentive to leave and usualy more drive for work

(cause everyone knows workmarket is quite time consuming and can be stressfull if you have timer "i will get kicked out of country unless i find next work" )

so countries what require 2~ish years living(and working) to get citizenship ? yeah

you are easy to get good worker what has lesser chance to jump the boat to other companies
