why though
japanese work culture is worse than death
the japanese low birthrate is no longer true
there's a lot of countries with low birth rates than japan
and japan's birthrates is actually rising
and Japan doesnt work 16 hours a day, they follow a strict schedule of 8 hours for many years now
if you work at a shit job they can force you to stay for overtime using societal pressure but under the law they cant keep you there
also a lot of modern companies are changing and encouraging western work hours with lots of breaks in between so if you're a gaijin with a skillset that finds a job there it wouldnt be any different from working at any other company
Also even if Japan's population is shrinking, it's a good thing because they've been overpopulated for years. Now people get to enjoy paying less rent to live, buy cheaper homes and to find a lot of job offers to move up. Japan doesnt need to stay overpopulated forever.
slow down there JIDF
It's not like that copy pasta is wrong tho
how do I get a westernish kind of job in japan
You don't?
Why would you want to live in Japan
Be a tourist there, sure but living there would suck
still better than pollackland
there aren't many things worse than working in a third world shithole where everyone wants to fuck you over
Not really, people who think they will be less miserable solely with a location change will be just as miserable as they are currently
at least in japan I wouldn't have to think too hard about where should I go for a photo walk
I'm not a burger
As a non-native speaker I cannot be hired as such
That's discrimination probably
You can
Just need the papers for it
I remember checking that route back in korea
Toefl or whatever
While burgers are hired just based on their nationality
Gotta put in the work to get the job
Even they need papers to teach English
i have lots of friends who live in japan
basically if you got a university degree and a useful skill
you can find any job in japan
you just have to enter it first
which is why a lot of people take teaching jobs
and then get job interviews to upgrade to better jobs the n
oh man I forgot I'm useless
then you can be an english teacher
if you live for 8 years in japan
you get permanent residency
