668B especially with the head cushions that are made of the same stuff; they now hurt my head
yeah i replaced my superlux earpads pretty quick
the head cushions i just cut off when they got hard
interestingly enough the velour pads on my takstar hi2050s from like 6 years ago is still soft..ish
its not as plush anymore unfortunately but it be like that
Just cut the cushions off??
"Just fuck my shit up, thanks"
???
its way more comfy with the hard cushions gone
The bare wires hurt less? <:rolf:589102490696548371>
Feels good man

What's the microphone?
modmic
ive had these for 6 years
still going strong
Yeah, I've had mine for a while too. Looking for velours that don't suck, not having any luck.
If I get one of those modmics, do you think I should put it on the 668B or the 681HD?
i think you should get something other than a modmic
I don't know what to look for as of now, what's something good you can suggest?
a microphone on a scissor arm
I mean, sure, but while a full-size mic will always be better I'm not streaming, or doing anything that requires particular sound quality. I'd just like to add a mic to a set of cans if I want to talk to friends or whatever. Also something a little more mobile, that could go on vacation or other parts of my home.
you could try a cable with an in-line microphone but that might be not what you want ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
you would also need either a splitter or a dongle that can correctly detect the trrs connection
@Iren Masot use a vmoda mic if your heaphones have a input jack on them
No input jack on Superlux stuff
Need to bodge something instead
:^)
modmic is fine, just dont get the 4, my friend got the 4 and it was worse than the one he had before
an essential, well not essential but its cheap and improves things a lot, is to get one of those cheap little usb soundcards and plug the mic into that
it get rid of any hiss from the mobo and it improves sound quality a bit
like one of these kind
i got one for like $5 and it had a decent jump in quality and removed the hiss
thanks crin
Lost my bluedio TNs and need something new, anyone got any experience with QCY QS2?
