also, t2 vs t3 what is the consensus?

2019-08-30 11:40:44 UTC

I've heard that t2 pro sucks

2019-08-30 11:53:57 UTC

yea

2019-08-30 11:54:02 UTC

more bass heavy or something

2019-08-30 11:54:10 UTC

its a sidegrade more than anything

2019-08-30 11:54:24 UTC

t3 are an upgrade but currently not worth the price performance ratio of the t2

2019-08-30 18:36:01 UTC

any other good wireless in ears?

2019-08-31 03:16:42 UTC

campfire solaris using chink knockoff drivers <:thonk:288060975775612929>

id love to open those and see identical to anyone else driver and stuff there

2019-08-31 11:58:11 UTC

and people just paying out of their ass for the brand and idioticy

2019-08-31 16:33:34 UTC

This kinda shit is why western companies are either dropping prices or dying

2019-09-01 06:57:45 UTC

Looks like my V-Modas are kicking the bucket, and I'm about done with buying $350 headphones from them the moment my previous pair goes out of their "great" warranty. Yall got recs on higher-end over-ear headphones? I need them to be compatible with a 3.5mm cable.

2019-09-01 06:58:39 UTC

Also: strongly prefer closed-back

2019-09-01 06:59:02 UTC

pro82

2019-09-01 06:59:40 UTC

What's the sound profile on those?

2019-09-01 06:59:59 UTC

nvm they have a graph on the product page

2019-09-01 07:00:50 UTC

Anything better than that though? I don't care about budget, really.

2019-09-01 13:07:30 UTC

Do all 2-pin iem connectors suck or have I just had bad luck?

2019-09-01 13:08:07 UTC

KZ ZS5/CCA C10, found the connectors really loose on both

2019-09-01 13:08:48 UTC

Lost a ZS5 unit when I was running, C10 came off and fell down stairs

2019-09-01 13:09:48 UTC

Just want to know if it's a kz thing, if I got a different brand would they be more secure? Or should I go for MMCX?

2019-09-01 14:22:11 UTC

uh

2019-09-01 14:22:20 UTC

do you have a tendency to plug/unplug them often

2019-09-01 14:22:51 UTC

i think it might just be a kz thing because mmcx connectors vary in tightness

2019-09-01 14:23:00 UTC

the t2 have notoriously tight mmcx connections

2019-09-01 16:23:07 UTC

2 pin > mmcx in my experience

2019-09-01 16:23:59 UTC

My Peacock P1 are 2-pin and that connector works flawlessly. My little sisters had some KZ earphones and their connectors worked fine as well

2019-09-01 16:24:49 UTC

You shouldn't be unplugging them very often regardless of connector type

2019-09-01 23:20:40 UTC

no, I don't really unplug them, just set them up when I first get them and then whenever they fall out

2019-09-02 04:51:21 UTC

should go for fixed cable or tws as I have become shiva, destroyer of headphones

2019-09-02 07:36:24 UTC

Fixed cable is an easy way to lose the entire pair of headphones if your cable goes bad

2019-09-02 07:36:37 UTC

Learned that the hard way with RHA t20

2019-09-03 01:29:55 UTC

what the hell are you guys doing with your headphones to run into so many cable issues? i don't treat my t2's all that nicely, but i still haven't ran into any cable issues, yet every thread on reddit/4chan etc complain about cable breaking, or connection being bad.

2019-09-03 02:17:04 UTC

If you're out and about during the day but using wired headphones, the cable is likely to take damage from numerous sources as time goes on.
