It's usually a controversial topic because it's inhumane, but I understand the idea and purpose behind it

But it depends on the severity of the disability

There is testing nowadays, not sure how accurate, but it tells you whether your child will have a disability or not

I take a utilitarian view on it, so kids who would suffer from extreme mental retardation and would have to live off the state

People often bring up Stephen Hawking as a counter argument but he wasn't born disabled, he developed a degenerative disease later in life

And still was able to contribute a great deal to society
