registered callsigns can easily be searched back to real name
Tervy types long diatribes, That's the same thing as knowing what you're talking about, right?
Tervy, more like Unnervy <:wholesomethonk:373550351082848267>
that's because all the people with callsigns are boomers who know nothing about privacy
Name: Mike Jones
Callsign: Big Mike
Nothing revealing here
surely boomers are the ones who would know most about privacy considering privacy is something zoomers don't have a concept about
it isn't even a thing to zoomers since they weren't raised with it being a thing <:rolf:589102490696548371>
Let's sperg out about privacy, and do so using Discord! This is not ironic at all
irony isn't lost on me m8
>you are on discord therefore you cannot argue in favour of privacy
fatthew strikes again
his sausage fingers know no mercy
Not what I'm saying at all, smh
you use a chinese surveillance program, yet you complain about the surveillance of society. curious!
then thing at least around here local HAM-fisters club have public list of callsign - name - home freq.
at least used to
<:zoomer:589103833095995402> what's surveillance, is that a Kendrick Lamar song?
I think it's a COD perk
damn now I want to play some COD
you don't need a callsign to listen, only when you smash that big transmit button and screech across the airwaves does it become a problem
set up 3 or more antennas
and broadcast from different one each time
they will never find you

Backseat moderating is my schtick, homo
huh, there's police scanner apps?
<:thinkjojo:333980344044879872>
in countries with non encrypted police radio, sometimes yes
UK is a no go definitely, they're all on that Motorola encrypted
was able to listen to hospital chatter with my Baofeng tho
>not just getting the cyptographic key from uk police radios
@Comfy I did find a list of different emergency services frequencies for west yorkshire, I'll have to test them out once I get my baofeng
yeah I think I found the same list before, a lot of them were inactive or dead
the most consistent frequencies I found were for taxi dispatchers
@androidcrawler dutch police radios require authing with the transmission towers
it's not just some client side encryption that you can break
