for some reason I thought that it replaces aux input somehow and your car had to be compatible

2 used a flat headed connector

which doesn't connect well on some cars

so the Roidmi is still just an fm modulator, but controlled through an app on your phone?

you use the app to set it up for the first time

once you've done that your phone should connect to it through BT once you start the car
