iunno, i really like LG, had a ton of problems with Sony instead (mostly about gettnig the resolution right, it wouldnt communicate with my PC about that)

2019-08-28 10:47:18 UTC

but maybe all these problems are fixed with my new tv

2019-08-28 10:47:21 UTC

(LG OLED C8 thingy)

2019-08-28 10:57:23 UTC

Interesting, Sony TVs never failed me

2019-08-28 11:37:34 UTC

Those LG oled TVs are nice

2019-08-28 11:37:46 UTC

I've always wanted one

2019-08-28 11:38:18 UTC

But I never even use my current TV so it would be a waste to get one

2019-08-28 11:39:03 UTC

I accidentally unplugged it like 3 months ago, and I still haven't gotten around to plugging it back in

2019-08-28 11:54:26 UTC

will give my remarks when I actually relearn how to do this shit

2019-08-28 12:06:47 UTC

You got that pretty quick, didn't you just order it the other day?

2019-08-28 12:10:01 UTC

no sir

2019-08-28 12:10:06 UTC

i'm the one who shilled it

2019-08-28 12:10:09 UTC

not the other guy who wanted one

2019-08-28 12:14:03 UTC

Oh ok, That makes sense

2019-08-28 12:14:12 UTC

came through pretty quick for aliexpress standard tho

2019-08-28 12:14:48 UTC

ordered it on the 20th

2019-08-28 12:15:06 UTC

a week from china is pretty quick

2019-08-28 12:15:21 UTC

Yeah that's pretty good

2019-08-28 12:15:32 UTC

I need to learn to solder

2019-08-28 12:15:48 UTC

i'm essentially starting over and it's gonna be harder too

2019-08-28 12:16:02 UTC

since im going for more difficult work

2019-08-28 12:16:22 UTC

tinning small vias for wires and shit like that

2019-08-28 12:16:31 UTC

I bought a macropad kit so I could learn on it, but I never actually got an iron

2019-08-28 12:19:01 UTC

I'll probably end up with one of those USB irons that get shilled here every so often, and I since I don't really have desk space for a full setup, and I doubt I'll be soldering *that* much

2019-08-28 12:19:19 UTC

tbh the KSGER isnt that big

2019-08-28 12:19:30 UTC

KSGER mini is also an option if you have a power brick

2019-08-28 12:19:48 UTC

TS80 and TS100 are good irons mind you just slightly more expensive and i'd prefer the interface of a stationary unit

2019-08-28 12:21:21 UTC

Being a self contained thing I can just chuck in a drawer when not using it is the most appealing thing about the TS irons

2019-08-28 12:22:27 UTC

ksger mini being equaly sized if not larger when you account for the powerbrick

2019-08-28 12:24:14 UTC

Fair enough

2019-08-28 12:25:03 UTC

I'll put it in the consideration whenever I finally get around to getting one

2019-08-28 12:30:41 UTC

also im pretty sure the ts80/ts100 tip standard is different

2019-08-28 12:30:44 UTC

its not t12

2019-08-28 12:30:51 UTC

i guess the mini could save space if you also have lab-PSU capable feeding it

2019-08-28 12:31:02 UTC

then you can just throw the barrel in its ass and lead to station and have a go with it

2019-08-28 12:31:22 UTC

i mean you can put the brick on your floor

2019-08-28 12:31:31 UTC

if you're starved for desk space

2019-08-28 12:31:48 UTC

and yeah TS80/100 uses similar but separate tips

2019-08-28 12:33:38 UTC

@Cole look at these niggas not having one of those

difference is 40mm versus 130mm
