Our post office and most of munixipal buildings are a pig's sty. Poluted and filth everywhere. Now we have tried and pleaded for the workers to clean the place up but nothing gets done. The problem is also if it gets done it is a pigs sty again after months end.

If they wont listen to us over the enviroment, perhaps they will listen to their idol Mandela?
I am thinking of printing posters with his face on and some of his quotes on the enviroment and polution (in english and tswana), to try and guilt them to clean up after themselves. Realy not sure if this last ditch effort will work but am still going to try.

Here are some of his quotes:

“Our people are bound up with the future of our land. Our national renewal depends upon the way we treat our land, our water, our sources of energy, and the air we breathe. … Let us restore our country in a way that satisfies our descendants as well as ourselves.”

"But mismanagement of the land has devastating long-term consequences. If our soil is lost, it is lost forever. If it is inappropriately used, the consequences are permanent. Amongst other things, this makes spatial planning and the orderly development of infrastructure and housing extremely important. We are very sensitive to the needs of people to have a place to live; but unlawful occupation of land cannot be acceptable."

"These are enormous challenges. Challenges which cannot be surmounted by government alone, but for which we will need inputs from the whole South African community."
'Thus we can all contribute to the care of our environment and thereby secure a better life for all."

Would like to hear some thoughts on this plan

I think its a great plan, especially that second last quote with unlawful land occupation. Someone or something has to remind them of what Mandela really wanted this country to be like

IMO if we could punish Malema and Andile for their spewing and stoking of racism and take their platforms away, we would have more time to focus on real issues

2019-02-25 12:00:04 UTC

GG @MuskyHusky, you just advanced to level 1!

2019-02-25 12:01:18 UTC

At least Malema and Andile would be a start

2019-02-25 12:01:35 UTC

and Maasdorp can hop right along

2019-02-25 12:01:56 UTC

Ups😂

2019-02-25 12:03:16 UTC

I forgot about Maasdorp, just shows you how irrelevant they are to a normal S african citizen

2019-02-25 12:08:37 UTC

Does anyone know how many protests we have had this year so far?

2019-02-25 12:10:09 UTC

At the least 1 daily

2019-02-25 12:13:30 UTC

That's really bad. I no longer watch the news, only Gouws's channel, atleast he doesn't depress me like the tv news

2019-02-25 12:25:02 UTC

Yes it can get a man down, thats why ignorance is bliss...

2019-02-25 12:33:17 UTC

What do you think of Eskom that said they won't be able to function after April? Are they serious or lying

2019-02-25 12:46:14 UTC

Prob a bit of both

2019-02-25 12:47:01 UTC

How can they function when they chased all the experienced people away to make way for political cronies?

2019-02-25 12:47:20 UTC

The coal shortage was a lie

2019-02-25 12:47:41 UTC

and the timing is just too bloody convinient, between the SONA and budget

2019-02-25 12:57:00 UTC

Yeah, I honestly hope they are just trolling us with the threat of a blackout

2019-02-25 12:58:26 UTC

Lul

2019-02-25 13:23:01 UTC

Peanuts compared to the monthly bailouts

2019-02-25 13:23:41 UTC

Also interesting to note, we were the leaders in this technology until it was allowed that chinese spies stole and copied the plans

2019-02-25 13:25:57 UTC

above article is from 2005 btw

2019-02-25 13:28:28 UTC

How is it possible for these govt officials to get away with things like this

2019-02-25 13:28:43 UTC

because we alow it

2019-02-25 13:30:40 UTC

I am in favour of the death penalty for corrupted politicians. We wouldn't have a problem then

2019-02-25 13:32:35 UTC

A lot of people say that, I counter it with the notion that I do not trust THAT power in the ANC's hands. Penny Sparrow, the Coligny case, Sweizer teacher would have been hung in the streets

2019-02-25 13:33:42 UTC

Why did the japan man apologies for being 3 mins late? because if he didnt he would have been held acountable, something that never happens here

2019-02-25 13:37:04 UTC

Yeah Japan is very strict about such things. I counter that with, the death penalty should only be able to be used against polititcians that have intentionally harmed others, like that Life Esidimeni thing where the patients died

2019-02-25 13:37:04 UTC

GG @MuskyHusky, you just advanced to level 2!

2019-02-25 13:38:28 UTC

That actualy sounds great😃

2019-02-25 13:39:01 UTC

will force you to double think before getting state capturey

2019-02-25 13:41:18 UTC

Ikr, would solve so many problems with that as a law and if you are affraid of the death penalty, dont become a politician<:dab:491739133379608582>

2019-02-25 14:18:25 UTC

people actually think capexit is realistic. thats funny

2019-02-25 14:19:22 UTC

people who still believe in democracy weSmart...

2019-02-25 14:24:49 UTC

Democracy has never really truly existed as not everyone could get what they voted for in any country. Democracy looks good on paper but irl its a shitshow just as communism

2019-02-25 14:55:18 UTC

Capexit never gonna happen. Oil at the coast of Mosselbay. The Townships here are to violent

2019-02-25 14:58:52 UTC

I'm gonna drink that oil so I don't have to deal with life in this country lol
