What are the rifle/pistol ranks other than marksman in the miltary?
Expert maybe?
Sofaking would know , miss that dude too
marksman, expert, sharpshooter, ...to name a few
sharpshooter req's rifle mastery
Well, Thad be me😉
anyway...after that 357 mag incident ...bros refused to take me to target practice since...even decades later...they considered it a waste of ammo...since i didn't need practice
but because of that natural skill..they wanted me in the army
but i didn't want to be in the army...i wanted tech skills so i opt'd for navy or airforce
Shooting is a deteriorating skill , you have to stay in practice. Different conditions, distances, calibers.
opposite for me...more i shoot, the worse i get
and conditions, distances, calibers, and charge yield powering each shot is all basically math to me...and i was really good at math
All you you need is to be really good with one rifle though. And know bullet drops for every distance, then you're golden
But then you start thinking you need different rifles for different applications and have to start all over again
It's all just comp fun for me now. All about group size with the least amount of money you can spend
i just play online games mostly now
the free to play ones
tank games, ship games....
Yeah that's fun too
hated it when they tried to make it like 'war-thunder' and basically ruined the game
also they took out my fav prem plane from the game
Remember the game battle zone? Was one of my favorites back in the 90s. In the day of vector games
i used to play the sit-down arcade version alot
but my best game was 'tempest' ...was arcade's top scorer for that one...i listened to rush while playing it
wasn't til a decade ago i found out that the creator of the game was a diehard rush fan
Yup another classic vector
and to beat the game, u had to listen to rush
according to the game's creator
A friend of mine used to transfer tempest onto a 40 ft screen with a laser and play it.
It was unbelievable
went to a local community college in the early 90's ..took a snes with me after i found the lounge for students had a projection tv in it...i fixed the tv and got it working again
it was fine while i had vcr or game system in the lounge ..but once i rigged up an antenna to it, the women took over the lounge to watch their soaps
the antenna was temporary ...so i could take it home with me every night
tried to rig up a perm one but maintence kept removing it
i had to stick it out of the window to get a signal
anyway...playing 'super scope' on projection was fun
shot from back of the room
had mario kart races with a few friends at the school
That is cool. Well woof , now that we f-ed up military and weapons pretty good , I'm gonna fall asleep to the x22 report. I will catch ya tomorrow.
