Whats with these "Trump wants to use nukes to stop hurricanes from happening in the us" articles? Some kind of storm code?
@Bukkakemon The Nuke the Hurricane is a Hoax story. It was probably thought up in some think tank, but rejected as absurd. Technically it might work, but you must be insane to consider it.
actually hurricanes generate more force than a nuke does so it would take several hundred nukes just to take down a cat 1-2 hurricane
would be cheaper to take out the machine that causes them and moves them
I legitimately only heard of the nuclear option for hurricanes from my lefty dad

the nuke force req'd to knock out a cat 5 hurricane would have the blast radius of 25% greater than the hurricane itself
and thats a naturally occurring hurricane, not a geostorm warfare hurricane
small tactical can take out a geostorm warfare hurricane, just hit the source engine
anyway...anything less than greater than size of the natural hurricane will just feed the hurricane with force energy
but u have to consider that the force nuke capable of taking out a cat 5 hurricane will basically level most of the usa in the process if detonated over land...and generate a massive tsunami if detonated while in deep ocean
