**John 3:21 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<21> But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. ```
Isaiah 53:9 kjv This is the opposite of what happened
**Isaiah 53:9 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<9> And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. ```
He was among the wicked at dying yet the tomb was a rich mans tomb.
1 Peter 2:22
**1 Peter 2:22 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<22> Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: ```
Many rich men are wicked. Yes.
a rich man gave Jesus his tomb.
Did he sin. He did. He went on the Sabbath walking further than the width of the Camp Yehovah said was as far as one should walk on the Sabbath. He harvested grain to eat while Yehovah said do not even pick up the Manna to eat it on the Sabbath. This was all prior to the Ten Commandments when their journey was just after crossing the water.
When confronted he said well i am above the law. The Lord of the Sabbath.
that is because of Jeremiah 31:31-32
**Jeremiah 31:31-32 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<31> Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: <32> Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: ```
Jesus established that new Covenant
he did no sin.
God instructed him to establish said new Covenant, he obeyed God.
That day did not yet come. It speaks of Yehovah on earth for eternity.
He did not say he was above the law.
Matthew 12:7-8
**Matthew 12:7-8 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<7> But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. <8> For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. ```
Jesus showed the Jews what the law really meant.
they weren't looking at it through the Spirit, but by the flesh.
Jesus did GOOD on the Sabbath because remember the GREATEST Commandment.
I don’t read that text as anything but Humble.
Matthew 22:36-40
**Matthew 22:36-40 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<36> Master, which is the great commandment in the law? <37> Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. <38> This is the first and great commandment. <39> And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. <40> On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. ```
Is it humble to break the law and when confronted to say wait I am Lord of the Sabbath. Not as I see it.
He didn’t break the law.
He broke two of them. Yehovah gave them through Moses when he started to send manna. Long before the ten commandments.
It goes all the way back to Genesis 2:4.
**Genesis 2:4 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**
```Dust
Another Account of the Creation
<4> These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created. In the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, ```
Matthew 5:19
**Matthew 5:19 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<19> Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. ```
Jesus was the conduit for the New Covenant, Jesus didn't sin, he established the new by exposing how the pharisees used the law for evil.
Sorry Genesis 2:3 kjv
**Genesis 2:3 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<3> And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. ```
Since when is it considered work to walk? Or heal? Or save people in their distress?
Yehovah had that law given through Moses it had nothing to do with those pagan jews.
point is, only the hypocrites say that doing good on the sabbath is breaking the law, you do what is more good always
They were specifically told to not walk further than the width of the camp. That it would be work to pick up the manna on the Sabbath so none would come. Far less work than harvesting grain.
Grain when ripe takes less work to take off the stalk than manna on the ground.
