I don't think even flat earthers would claim there's constant atmospheric pressure until you reach the firmament. Obviously pressure drops with altitude.

Because we are still much more dense than air, maybe we go down a very slight amount slower but not enough for us to even notice it because the contrast is so large

density is probably a consequence of things falling on FE
