@California Nightmare if it was very far awar ofc we can't see it move cuz it moves not fast in cosmological terms

2019-05-09 19:44:22 UTC

@Dustination get in here old man

2019-05-09 19:45:11 UTC

Polaris actually lies just a short distance away from where Earth's axis points. Polaris is located about 1 degree off to the side of the north celestial pole, so Polaris does move a little, tracing a very small arc in the night sky, around which the other visible stars make wider circles.

@dustbreather DONT make me mad!! 😡

2019-05-09 19:45:41 UTC

@dustbreather which one

2019-05-09 19:45:44 UTC

That's not exactly true and you did say it yourself. We know it is far enough to that it's mass or light can't be seen moving but yes it isn't perfectly aligned with the north pole either a few degrees if not a single degree off from what I know. We see other stars move due to their distance as well, some are closer and others are further. @California Nightmare

2019-05-09 19:45:50 UTC

ffs look at it for some time and it will slightly move in a little circle

2019-05-09 19:45:53 UTC

@cocobanana I'm already mad😡

@L.O.X why its great

2019-05-09 19:46:21 UTC

@Comic Man doesn’t explain why all the stars move around Polaris whole Polaris has never moves an inch since it was first discovered
