Facts

2019-05-10 02:57:47 UTC

What do you believe is a fair and comfortable taxation?

2019-05-10 02:57:52 UTC

in numbers please

2019-05-10 02:58:32 UTC

let's say for people earning up to $30,000, between $30,000 and maybe 100,000....etc.

2019-05-10 02:58:58 UTC

@Toshi Not really a valid point, negative externalities work better on businesses because they are all about cutting costs, while a person consuming alcohol isn't considering it especially when they have an addiction.
Negative externalities being taxed is quite beneficial to society, and is easily a reasonable accommodation

2019-05-10 02:59:54 UTC

The 'socialist' point is just a straw man, I could say all taxes are socialist by that logic.
Taxation is theft!

2019-05-10 03:00:07 UTC

well it depends

2019-05-10 03:00:17 UTC

what we are talking about

2019-05-10 03:00:21 UTC

are two extremes

2019-05-10 03:00:27 UTC

and I asked a simple question

2019-05-10 03:00:31 UTC

Taxation is taxation, it is coerced

2019-05-10 03:00:33 UTC

tell me in numbers

2019-05-10 03:00:46 UTC

what to you believe is a fair taxation?

2019-05-10 03:00:50 UTC

Taxation for what?

2019-05-10 03:01:02 UTC

like taxation in general

2019-05-10 03:01:11 UTC

because if you pile up taxes

2019-05-10 03:01:13 UTC

Income?

2019-05-10 03:01:19 UTC

obviously you'll pay more

2019-05-10 03:01:21 UTC

right

2019-05-10 03:01:42 UTC

well you pay taxes from your income or capital gain taxes

2019-05-10 03:01:51 UTC

(which again I'm against CGT)

2019-05-10 03:01:56 UTC

Carbon tax is FRAUD

2019-05-10 03:01:57 UTC

but it's a different story

2019-05-10 03:02:02 UTC

so tell me

2019-05-10 03:02:03 UTC

I think 30k USD, 10% is reasonable

2019-05-10 03:02:07 UTC

It's a way to say give me free money

2019-05-10 03:02:08 UTC

how much is fair

2019-05-10 03:02:14 UTC

?

2019-05-10 03:02:18 UTC

0

2019-05-10 03:02:27 UTC

Carbon tax FAKE

2019-05-10 03:02:27 UTC

US dollars

2019-05-10 03:02:29 UTC

like let's say 30% if you earn.....

2019-05-10 03:02:42 UTC

doesn't matter in which currency

2019-05-10 03:03:27 UTC

Hm, I'll have to look at the brackets

2019-05-10 03:03:37 UTC

30% would be top

2019-05-10 03:03:37 UTC

like for example I stronly believe that txes shouldn't be more than 40% for small and medium businesses

2019-05-10 03:03:40 UTC

end of story

2019-05-10 03:04:10 UTC

or if you earn less than 30K you are tax free

2019-05-10 03:04:29 UTC

Carbon tax isn’t different than taxation without representation. They’ll say 97% of scientists report global warming, and when it comes to actual debate, 0% of them actually show up.

2019-05-10 03:04:34 UTC

I think 40% is like, reasonable for large businesses.
A corporate tax rate of 40% fine by me, even less

2019-05-10 03:04:44 UTC

I'm not an anarchist...you still pay for roads and infrastructure
