quick question if u dont mind?

2019-05-10 20:49:04 UTC

Retired

2019-05-10 20:49:14 UTC

Sure go ahead

2019-05-10 20:49:27 UTC

did u have to account for the coriolis effect when shooting?

2019-05-10 20:49:32 UTC

shooting far distances*

2019-05-10 20:49:47 UTC

Nope..no,coriolis at all

2019-05-10 20:50:24 UTC

People have confused something called Spindrift with the Coriolis affect Spindrift is what makes your bullet move up into the right after about 800 to 1000 yards and itโ€™s from the rifling in the barrel and the slowing of the round

2019-05-10 20:50:29 UTC

what up

2019-05-10 20:50:52 UTC

okay fair enough lol

2019-05-10 20:51:06 UTC

no sniper adjusts for the fictious coriolis effect

2019-05-10 20:51:17 UTC

Agreed Jeremy

2019-05-10 20:52:00 UTC

hey now, the coriolis effect is live and true. Hurricanes rotate counterclockwise in the northern hemisphere, and clockwise in the southern

2019-05-10 20:52:05 UTC

you know what would be a good proof is prove something weighs more at the equator than at the north pole

2019-05-10 20:52:18 UTC

good globe earth proof

2019-05-10 20:52:20 UTC

Coriolis effect is a myth

2019-05-10 20:52:29 UTC

why would that be a good proof?

2019-05-10 20:52:37 UTC

good globe earth proof

2019-05-10 20:52:47 UTC

why ?

2019-05-10 20:52:49 UTC

@A Search for Roche's Rifle since ur experienced, i'll take ur word for it

2019-05-10 20:53:02 UTC

becuase we spin less in the north or south than at the equator

2019-05-10 20:53:13 UTC

what des spinning have to do with weight?

2019-05-10 20:53:18 UTC

My name is Angela hey hello

2019-05-10 20:53:25 UTC

dont u do big boy science ?

2019-05-10 20:53:30 UTC

lol

2019-05-10 20:53:44 UTC

weight is from gravity, not from spinning ๐Ÿ˜‚

2019-05-10 20:53:57 UTC

so nothing determines weight but gravity ?

2019-05-10 20:54:10 UTC

there are probably other factors, but mostly gravity

2019-05-10 20:54:13 UTC

ok

2019-05-10 20:54:17 UTC

im not sure what those other factors would be tbh

2019-05-10 20:54:21 UTC

their definently are other factors

2019-05-10 20:54:45 UTC

the earth spinning at 1k mph at the equator and only spinning 400 mph in alaska is one of them

2019-05-10 20:55:07 UTC

i know weight is different in the north or south than equator

2019-05-10 20:55:11 UTC

well claimed to be

2019-05-10 20:55:13 UTC

@jeremy the equator is slightly bulged due to centrifugal (or centripetal i have no idea lol), so if anything i would say that something would weigh less at the equator since its further from the center

2019-05-10 20:55:22 UTC

ok maybe its less

2019-05-10 20:55:37 UTC

either way that would be a good globe earth proof

2019-05-10 20:56:19 UTC

a good globe earth proof is that the length of a day gets longer as u move toward the poles

2019-05-10 20:56:59 UTC

yeah doesnt that woork on a flat earth model ?

2019-05-10 20:57:06 UTC

i dont think it does

2019-05-10 20:57:28 UTC

I'm not super versed on the flat earth model, but where would the poles even be?

2019-05-10 20:57:30 UTC

instead of that id like to see a real 24 hour antarctic sun
