As normal there tends to be flaws in the government

2019-05-12 21:35:20 UTC

And these scientists so called "facts"

2019-05-12 21:35:23 UTC

flaws is a nice way to put it

2019-05-12 21:35:32 UTC

i dont trust scientists

2019-05-12 21:36:57 UTC

why not?

2019-05-12 21:37:37 UTC

@Gazorpazorpfield The question isn't "why not?" but why?

2019-05-12 21:37:48 UTC

why don't you trust scientists?

2019-05-12 21:38:01 UTC

astronauts are people and people lie all the time sometimes for nothing

2019-05-12 21:38:09 UTC

From time to time and again and again we are shown they lie about the smallest things just to make the mainstream model work

2019-05-12 21:38:35 UTC

sorry scientists are people and people lie

2019-05-12 21:39:24 UTC

what do you think they are lying about?

2019-05-12 21:39:42 UTC

lots of things

2019-05-12 21:39:46 UTC

Tons of things

2019-05-12 21:39:53 UTC

evolution global warming cosmology

2019-05-12 21:40:15 UTC

archeology

2019-05-12 21:40:23 UTC

medicine

2019-05-12 21:40:31 UTC

what about peer review?

2019-05-12 21:40:35 UTC

i mean idk i could make a huge list for u

2019-05-12 21:40:53 UTC

What about it?

2019-05-12 21:41:15 UTC

didnt a bunch of fake papers just get accepted through peer review

2019-05-12 21:41:17 UTC

isn't peer review designed specifically to stop the liars from getting through?

2019-05-12 21:41:34 UTC

they made thousands of fake scientific papers and they were accepted in peer review i believe

2019-05-12 21:41:39 UTC

heaps of incorrect papers last for years without a good peer review yeah

2019-05-12 21:41:39 UTC

You are saying that like authority couldn't easily push them through anyways

2019-05-12 21:41:48 UTC

gg

2019-05-12 21:41:53 UTC

someone leveled up

2019-05-12 21:41:57 UTC

i dont think peer review works

2019-05-12 21:42:00 UTC

its one of you

2019-05-12 21:42:08 UTC

It's fairly simple to do so and yeah I don't think it works either

2019-05-12 21:42:31 UTC

@Gazorpazorpfield you reached level 1

2019-05-12 21:42:33 UTC

...

2019-05-12 21:42:41 UTC

@Barqos wheres ur chunkz pic

2019-05-12 21:42:43 UTC

idk the exact stats but it's something like 50% are found to have issues after being peer reviewed iirc, it's higher in some areas like medicine and psychology but I don't know the exact numbers

2019-05-12 21:43:36 UTC

the good thing about peer review is anyone can publish a counterpoint f they find an issue with the study, so it has an in-built mechanism for self correction

2019-05-12 21:44:03 UTC

It's more about the community of science and astronomy that should be getting looked at more and then people could probably be a little more honest about it

2019-05-12 21:44:53 UTC

didnt a whole bunch of face scientific papers get accpeted by peer review before

2019-05-12 21:44:58 UTC

fake scientific

2019-05-12 21:45:55 UTC

so everything is fake

2019-05-12 21:46:05 UTC

not saying everything is fake im saying peer review is bad

2019-05-12 21:46:14 UTC

peer review is not a reason to trust scientists

2019-05-12 21:46:47 UTC

i said i dont trust scientists he said what about peer review
