@Citizen Z are you sure about the globe model circumnavigation thing? I always thought that since you're going directly east, you wouldn't veer off the latitude line. Wouldn't anything off the line be going either North or South?

I think the point was if you determine east beforehand and then travel in that direction you'll deviate from the latitude line.
