well ur saying the sun doesnt change size at all have u seen a sunset int he desert and at the ocean

2019-05-17 15:00:05 UTC

the sun doesn't change size?

2019-05-17 15:00:06 UTC

and ur telling me the sun always is the same size as u see it

2019-05-17 15:00:08 UTC

(so, I got a kinda question: if the earth is flat, why can't I see Mt Etna? Cuz like, I'm pretty sure that from the height I'm at it would be looming up over the treeline)

2019-05-17 15:00:11 UTC

yes

2019-05-17 15:00:14 UTC

We see too far if the earth is as we are told

2019-05-17 15:00:18 UTC

the sun is a static object

2019-05-17 15:00:22 UTC

do u mean in volume or what u see

2019-05-17 15:00:28 UTC

no its not

2019-05-17 15:00:35 UTC

the sun is not static are u insane

2019-05-17 15:00:45 UTC

the sun doesnt move ?

2019-05-17 15:00:45 UTC

it does not change size ( ok it does but its so little)

2019-05-17 15:00:53 UTC

no the sun doesnt move lol

2019-05-17 15:01:03 UTC

yeah ok u need to learn ur fake globe model better

2019-05-17 15:01:20 UTC

the sun moves

2019-05-17 15:01:24 UTC

2019-05-17 15:01:38 UTC

lol same goes with flat earth

2019-05-17 15:01:40 UTC

the sun moves in outerspace on the globe model

2019-05-17 15:01:41 UTC

(the sun *does* move, but not relative to us. So for all intents and purposes, it doesn't)

2019-05-17 15:01:42 UTC

we move around the sun, this is called revolving

2019-05-17 15:02:02 UTC

so the sun does move ok

2019-05-17 15:02:11 UTC

the sun does move through space

2019-05-17 15:02:22 UTC

yeah i know learning said the sun dont move

2019-05-17 15:03:06 UTC

ok

2019-05-17 15:04:06 UTC

(I mean you'd think that if you were out on the ocean you'd be able to see a volcano rising up from the distance from your crow's nest, but no.. Why is that?)

2019-05-17 15:04:21 UTC

let me reword what i said i should of said, the us and the sun move through space and while we move through space we also revolve around the sun,

2019-05-17 15:04:27 UTC

the sun appears to change size due to perspective and atmospheric lensing

2019-05-17 15:05:14 UTC

(is it like air vapor, or what?)

2019-05-17 15:05:21 UTC

atmospheric lensing ?

2019-05-17 15:05:35 UTC

so the sun looks like its changing size meep ?

2019-05-17 15:06:00 UTC

u didnt watch the video that pic is from sunrise

2019-05-17 15:06:31 UTC

smaller at sunrise then gets bigger because its getting clsoer and ur looking through a less dense layer of atmosphere

2019-05-17 15:06:35 UTC

(fuck it)

2019-05-17 15:07:35 UTC

yeah idk i think the sun appears to change size

2019-05-17 15:07:56 UTC

ok

2019-05-17 15:08:54 UTC

so the atmosphere doesnt magnify things ?

2019-05-17 15:09:41 UTC

Wewoo

2019-05-17 15:09:47 UTC

sometimes conditions are just right so that the shrinking due to perspective and the atmospheric lensing matches to appear to keep the object the same size

2019-05-17 15:10:02 UTC

sometimes it doesnt

2019-05-17 15:10:15 UTC

u dont think water is in the air ?
