Showed me where my address was and destination using a ground positioning system, yes.

I am not saying what is contained within the video isn't true...

I could only see a small portion of the map. I don’t equate the earth having to be a sphere necessary for it to be accurate in small areas.

I’ve seen videos where people zoom out on google maps. And the horizon starts warping into a curve. Problem is, we don’t actually observe that in real life.

Google Earth used to use a flat earth map but then they changed it

Accurate for travel, sure. Not accurate about the earth’s shape.

you could see the transition between the flat earth map and the fake globe
