Is that antarctica

Allegedly

2019-05-21 15:54:00 UTC

The second

That's the thing, we can't tell.

2019-05-21 15:54:38 UTC

I mean where else would you find that

2019-05-21 15:54:45 UTC

The north pole?

2019-05-21 15:55:31 UTC

Yeh

2019-05-21 15:56:15 UTC

Who wants to talk some shieeet

I don't think it's a very provable thing. That's largely anecdotal evidence.

2019-05-21 15:56:50 UTC

Pretty good

Oh, come now. The earth would be tiny if that curve was accurate.

2019-05-21 15:57:28 UTC

How does lens work

2019-05-21 15:57:38 UTC

:^)

Do try to keep it relatively realistic.

2019-05-21 15:58:01 UTC

We don't live on animal crossing

<:GWcztMUM:398883142460768266>

2019-05-21 15:58:16 UTC

Shouldn't curve at low altitude

2019-05-21 15:58:25 UTC

Wait. It never curves

^

<:ragelaugh:473547202401140766>

2019-05-21 15:58:43 UTC

Well it always curves even at low altitude but it’s just really hard to see

2019-05-21 15:58:51 UTC

130k feet. No curve

2019-05-21 15:58:55 UTC

I would agree that this could be due to lens distortion

2019-05-21 15:59:26 UTC

Your lord Neil deGrasse Tyson says you can't see the curve until you're in space

2019-05-21 15:59:39 UTC

Are you smarter than your lord?

2019-05-21 15:59:47 UTC

That’s just intellectually dishonest to quote NDT

2019-05-21 15:59:52 UTC

HAHHAHAAA

2019-05-21 15:59:54 UTC

The man you all hate

2019-05-21 15:59:59 UTC

<:unsee:518873814877077519>

Not in the second image. That curve is massive as fuck. It even gets most extreme just a tad bit off center to the left. That's a damn near a point. Not a gradual, uniform curve.

2019-05-21 16:00:22 UTC

But quote when he says something seemingly convinient

2019-05-21 16:00:30 UTC

You like NASAs footage where Florida takes up 1/3 of the face of the Earth?

2019-05-21 16:01:11 UTC

You can’t use NDT as evidence that’s just intellectually dishonest

2019-05-21 16:01:37 UTC

You know everything he says doesn’t agree in the slightest bit with your stance

2019-05-21 16:01:39 UTC

Don't get tricked by cartoons balls. They are obviously hiding land. Doesn't work on a small ball

Just as you can't use Google earth as evidence since it's a digital rendering.

<:ragelaugh:473547202401140766>

Can you replicate what the ISS sees?

2019-05-21 16:02:46 UTC

The ISS. The place where they got caught hundreds of times messing up their green/blue screen
